    looking to buy a Ws6

hey guys I'm on the verge of finally getting my bird and thought i would inquire you guys on some prices since you seem to be experts in the buisiness

heres a nice looking white one

and then there is this red one

now they arent the shiny black that i want but i figure a nice paint job can take care of that (though i did find one but they left no contact info)

also there any major difference between the A4 and M6 cuz it would be alot easier to find an A4 but ive been looking for an M6 thinking that it would have better performance

if you want black hold out til you find one..getting a whole new paint job on a different color... no fun, if blacks what you desire get it...when i looked for mine i looked at only blacks and m6's and they all were torn up so i ended up w/an a4 but glad i waited to get a black one

no better performance with an M6 (could even be WORSE if you are not a good driver) but M6 can be more fun.... i wouldn't want a 4th gen in auto.

Theres a huge differance. 6speed is so much more fun to drive, although a stalled a4 can prolly blow the doors off an m6. Add 4.11's to the m6 and it evens the playing field (depending on the drivers). If u want a black wait to get one. I would sell u mine if u want. 98 black 6 speed with the Ws6 hood. However i dont know where you are.

stock vs stock the m6 is rated a bit faster. .3 or .4 0-60, i think. but a stall would change that...

still, GET THE MANUAL! Its so much better than auto. Auto's are only fun when driving recklessly. manuals are always fun, and much more when accelerating.

also, a drag the auto is more consistent (and also takes away from the one skill really needed) but in autox and road courses the m6 will have an great advantage. depends on what you plan on doing.

plus, when you are showing off your car and someone asks, "Is it stick?" you don't want to have to answer no.

If you have your heart set on something don't comprimise. you will be much happier with someething if you get what you want. just wait for the right one to come along.

i must say that us a seriously beautiful hawk but the distance is a bit daunting, and plus i really have my heart set on a t/a mainly just for the awesome hood which is something that really given the chance i could look past. So basically right now that distance is killing me because that hawk is really looking sweet

Just to echo what everyone has said...
Hold out until you get exactly what you want. You'll enjoy your car alot more.
I wanted a white TA, I got it and have zero regrets.
