Looking to buy a cat-back. Any suggestions?

I've been considering the hooker or TSP cat-back. Anyone have these on their car? How do they sound?

    Sadly now demodded :(

I have QTP SS LT's (! cats) and 2-1/2" TD's with an X-pipe and twin MagnaFlows terminated with 45* turnouts at the axle. Nice rumble that's not too loud untill I get on the loud pedal. Just like I like it.

Went with Borla on mine and love it!

Difficult to install, though. The typical red-neck muffler shop is not recommended for this type of work, whereas they can get a magna-flow on there in less than an hour.

Magnaflow is still the best sounding one in my worthless opinion.

If you consider the SLP Loudmouth go with the Loudmouth II as it is a better sound. I found the install very easy by myself in the garage even though the instructions weren't the very best.

    Good luck.

My opinion is to stay away from either, LM1 or LM2. By themselves they sound ok, but any headers, cam modifcation makes them sound too raspy for me. Magnaflow, GMMG, Borla all sound nice IMO. I run a SpinTech, as it came with the car. Its far to tame for me, someday I will go Magnaflow, or if I can find a GMMG at a reasonable used price.

The 4" cutout on the 4" exhaust makes up for any quietness though I assure you
