Look like it was lowered?
I've had my car for a year now and was wondering if you guys could tell me if the previous owner has lowered it, to me the front looks like it has been but the rear doesn't. Not sure cause i've never seen one in person lowered.

looking at mine..it looks the same..the back gap appears to be bigger..while the fronts look more squated...get a picture of your car from the side..thats how we could really tell.

Its lower than mine but I think the WS6 had a lower stance from factory.
Taking a picture of the springs would probably give you the most accurate answer.

I'm at work but i'll post a side pic of the whole car and of the springs later, i ask cause i just ordered some koni's and i'm gonna need to know what shock perch to use. I always thought it was stock until i pulled up to this SOM t/a and complimented him on his beautiful car and he said thanks and mine looked bad ass lowered, i was thinking i thought this thing was at stock height to myself.

I'm trying to decide if i should go with strano's lowering springs but wanted to stay at stock height cause i already have minor clearance issues but if the front has already been lowered i might as well buy the spring set. If you guys say that is the stock spring i really don't know why it would sag so much seeing how the car only has 50k miles on it. If the front has been lowered though that would explain why the car handles like shit cause it would be lowered and still use the stock shock.Last edited by sfletch2000; 03-05-2008 at 04:46 PM.

My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
your car is definatly lowered! that looks like an aftermarket shock-the stock ones are orange-could be your issue there. how is the ride quality?
also, some cheap ass may have heated the stock springs with a blow torch and compressed them to lower it like a ricer would.

The ride quality isn't very good, i don't think the springs were heated but who knows. The car sometimes drifts left and sometimes drifts right, it just doesn't track very well at all. I'm gonna get it aligned after i do shocks/springs.
I just got the koni's from UPS but i'm not putting them on yet, i'm gonna go ahead and order strano springs now that you told me the car has been lowered cause i won't have anymore clearance issues than i already have.. And the shock you see in there isn't actually black it might have been orange on the bottom part i can't remember though. It just has alot of brake dust on it to make it look black.
thanks for your help

bu01 - Looks like it is, but not very much.
sfletch2000 - I bet that whoever lowered it didn't have it aligned afterwards, or they or yourself hit a pothole just hard enough to knock it out of alignment.
