Depends on how quick you need to get in. If its not an emergency, can the dealership cut you a key based off the vin?

The other thing you can try is cars with no window surround you can usually pull the window anywhere from 2-3-3 1/2 inches away from the jamb without breaking it. Get a friend and a coathanger (Ive actually found one coathanger usually wont do the trick) or a some kind of long metal rod (I use a fire poker) and have your buddy very carfeully pull the window away from the car (use some kind of prying tool wrapped in cloth) and get as directly above the power door lock button as you can. The use the metal rod to push the button. The closer you can get to the button from outside, the more control you will have. Hope that helps.

Try using something a little stiffer than a coat hanger like a piece of brake tubing with a rubber cap over the one end. I just locked my keys in the car too and the window pry's away pretty easy.

This will not work on our cars...I wanted to see if anyone could reach in and use the unlock button if I left my t-tops off at the mall. I locked the car, closed the doors, and tried to unlock the doors with the button and it does not unlock. Some sort of safety feature...

Never locked a set of keys under the hood but once I got pulled over in my 68 chevelle because the taillights where out. I poped the trunk(double parked on a busy road) wiggled a wire and they came on. The cop let me go. Then realized I left my keys laying in the truck. Mom had to come with my spare keys from about 15 miles away.

Oh yeah spare keys ftw, I had the battery die in my car, car was locked, no remote entry, and I had took the spare door key off to reduce the jingle and cluster of keys I had on my ring lol. put it back on now.

how about this one I was on a tour last summer with the 81 t a and it was way hot so I thought I would pull over and take out the tops well lo and behold my shorts did not have any pockets so I put the keys on the trunk sill and proceeded to un do the tops. After putting them in the trunk yep you guessed it I closed the trunk and there we were no keys in the middle of nowhere. All the wife said was - you left the chairs in the trunk! Needless to say we stopped a guy and he had a screwdriver and a rusty pair of plyers that we were able to break the lock with and away we went glad it had the lock behind the plate tho
