I've let my girlfriend of 3+ years drive it once late at night. She liked the power but not the seating position so she doesn't ask to drive anymore. So now she's getting an Evo X so that she has the power but still has the seating like a sedan. And I've let my best friend of 7 years drive it a few times only because he's practically my brother. Other than that, It's just my parents that drive it. My dad was the previous owner of my car til I bought it off of him because he drove too much at his job. And my lil 5' even mom can handle her '04 Ram quad cab no problem and she used to own a LT1 Formy. Plus, she's loaded so if she breaks it, that'd be the best day of my life cuz she'd fix it to better than originial condition in a jiffy....

No. I've got an older firebird right now, and the only one I let drive that is my dad. When I get a newer Trans Am, again only my dad will drive it..might let a friend take it for a spin, but I've known him 13 years. No girlfriends allowed in the driver's seat with the car running (at least, not without me also =P). Only reason my dad would be allowed is he is/was a top mechanic, been around vehicles all his life, is amazing with cars (can drive anything exceptionally well on the first go), and used to have a trans am.

My dream car, a '79 T/A Y-84, I might let my pop drive it once or twice. After that, nobody else. Nobody nobody nobody.

I let her drive it, and she drove the C5 too. She doesn't like driving the C5, so nobody drives that, not even for service (heh, not even me!). But I'd only allow other people to pilot the T/A if I KNOW they can drive.

I bought ours for my wife. So she has no choice but to let me drive it. She drives it more than I do though. Hence it's her car.

The day I bought my 98 A4, i took my gf at the time. Worst thing was I had to watch her drive it home for an hour in the rear view b/c I drove out there in a standard jeep which she couldn't drive. Lesson learned, and now i always drive an auto to look at cars...

i can pretty safely say i would rather put a 9mm round in my leg as it would probably end up being cheaper in the long run!

Unless a girl owns one or can apprecaite it i say no. My girl loves T/A along with me, so it's cool, but out of 6yrs together she has only driven it twice. Not too bad. But she is really careful, maybe i should let her drive more..... NAH.... lol

Hah..well the g/f has actually never asked to drive the Ls1. And well, I've never offered.

Funny background story though...it was a very hot chick that taught me how to do a proper burnout awhile back haha..

That said, I dont have a "no chicks behind the wheel" rule. (Except Mommy...she drives like an 84 yr old asian in a big rig). I just have to know that she knows what she's sitting in.
