    lambo hinges

anyone have them installed in know new they are like 1200 bucks but i found some used ones for sale on craigslist that are on a firebird just wondering because the doors on these damn birds are so long its kinda hard to get in and out when in a parking lot like wal mart or where ever

    what do you think?

i think it is a bad idea...i have heard that they seal horribly. Also in general lambo vertical doors are played out. and then you have to worry about height clearance etc. on top of that i believe their latching system is kind of messed up..do what you want but vertical doors are not looked apon kindly on this site.

It's a little ricey, but if that's what you want go for it.

I personally don't think they look that bad, but at the same time don't really like them either.

If you're gonna do lambo doors, do them right. I've seen too many cheap lambo door hinge installs that basically destroy the car. In fact, I've never seen a good lambo door kit in person.

Lambo doors are not what a Trans Am stands for.

    It would be unethical.

    Think about it this way.

They are ona firebird and got taken off. Must not have been too good a product or they would still be on the firebird.

I wouldn't bother with them. But it's your car. Just expect a lot of negative comments from people if you do get them.
It's not how fast you can go. It's how fast you can get there.

well from all of the great responses i have recieved i will not be getting them just thought it would help out with getting in and out instead of fighting and trying to squeez in at a parking lot but now after reading this it has opened my eyes to other possible probs that would arise like alignment and sealing

thanks for slapping me back into reality dont know what happened

oh yeah the lambo doors open both regular ways and vertical

Do as I do. Park at the very back. Usually there will be no car back there and you save on door dings too.
