    keep or sell?

I recently wrecked my bird, I don't know what to do. Can't get it fixed right away and I'm behind on bills, so I'm thinking of selling. Problem is I don't know what I should ask. Its gonna need windshield, hood, bumper, lights, fenders, air cleaner and battery. It is bone stock, 4A, 110k. I love this car, but I'm in bad shape right now and honestly don't know when I'll be able to fix it. Any opinions, offers?

I hate to see anyone sell their cars because they will usually kick their selves later on. Also with a wrecked bird many times you can sell a few parts to get your bills in line and buy the parts back or upgrade later (if you have another car) But it's your car and you have to decide what you have to do or want to do. I really can't tell you what to price it at without pics of damage. But i will say i have saw wrecked birds get parted out and make around $6k off the parts.

I didn't expect the wrecked part....Was going to say just sell while you have value.
You aren't getting much out of a wrecked car with that mileage. At least not without finding someone trying to find something to build.

What are you thinking you want? What are you expecting? Pics?

    No insurance I'm assuming?

I honestly don't think you'd get much parting it out, you'd have to try and find someone who's looking for 75%+ of what's salvageable on your car, which is a thin market. Tought choice either way, I would probably try to get rid of it short term, just to see if there's any bites. But plan on keeping it to fix it up enough to sell it.

That's my opinion, as I would sell mine if it was involved in ANYTHING bigger than a fender bender. Sad, I know.

Is it your daily driver or can you let it sit for awhile?
