    doesnt do it all the time, some times i will just burn like crazy, but sometime the tires are more sticky and they grab the road a bit and i feel like at that point the wheel hops a bit and you hear the slap

    i here some people have gone back to paper filters because of the k&n filters having a small oil film on them and getting on the maf sensors.

    the oil is what make the k&n work so well, ho wits charged and how it grabs particles.....if you dont follow the diretions and put on too much oil then yes it will damage the sensors, really it comes down to whether or not you know what you are doing. I have run these filters for years and never had a problem...
