    Just couldnt do it..

    Hey guys,

Recently I posted a thread asking if I could get 10k for my trans am. After only having the car posted for 2 weeks I have received multiple phone calls and texts asking about the car.. I wont list every offer because there is atleast 10 but today I got 2 very serious offers including an 01 and 03 gsxr750 both bikes for my car and I also I had a guy who wanted to drive 2 hours just to look at the car and buy it for 9500

The original idea was to get a feel for what my car was worth and maybe sell the car to get me a bike and a truck. After a long time thinking about it I decided I just dont have the heart to get rid of my car. I have spent too much money and time to have this car and nothing quite felt right. I will have my car paid off by this fall and I may finance a bike then but until then for all those who posted, I was more then likely able to get close to what I wanted but I just dont have the heart to sell my car not without upgrading to a much faster fbody

    It has a big wing!

    You have chosen wisely...

Best advice to go by is... if you're not sure what to do,don't do anything! (at least for now)

Mine will get sold when I find a Firhawk M6 loaded or a SOM WS6 other than that my trailblazer, TA, and 5.o vert are all payed off so I am now trying to find a nice SS or I could use a pickup for my shop and those Viper trucks look better evert time I see a blk reg cab 6spd might even settle for a quad with a auto if the price was right. I had a 05 Ram Blk Rumble BEE and it came with some bolt ons and a chip and it had some go to it. Faster than my 5.0 vert with it's same bolt ons and probably would have given my TA a good run when it was stock.

Eft out one important car I would sell the 5.0 and TA for an 08 C6 after having a yellow hertz vette for a week in FL I started to love it, and I was never a C5 fan. I like the 63 split windows and old vettes but the only other 1 I liked was the C4 ZR1 since they are rare and a great car for it's time. New ZR1's are nice but I rather buy a viper, and a 2010 SS. Maybe a fleet of f bodys like a 89, 94, and 99 aniversary editions along with a blackbird, firehawk, and a 02 camaro Ss with the CME exhaust or a Berger edition. May even have some money left to buy land and a garage for all of them.

Thanks guys, I think I made the right decision too. I actually just sold my 5.0 86 trans am to my dad and now I got 2k to play around with. When I was planning to sell my t/a I didnt want to spend anymore money on it but now that I think im going to keep it I need a buff and wax, lt headers, tune by frost, and maybe even a tint and I will be happy to drive this car to the ground lol

Oh and maybe 373 rear end.. do you guys think a switch like that would be fine gas mileage wise and with the stock rear end?

You absolutely made the right decision. I had a 98 TA and when I sold it, I immediately regretted it. I plan on being buried in my 02 WS6!

most people will tell you that putting gears in the stock 10 bolt is a waste of money. with that being said, I'm not sure if you are an A4 or M6 but either way you won't see a major change in gas mileage. Most A4s go with 3.73s and most M6s go with 4.10s.

the rear end is not strong and won't hold up. I put 3.73s in my 10 bolt a few weeks ago. I have an M6 and everyone told me I was wasting my money and time by putting them in. I'm just going to have to be careful to not beat on it too much.

hmm how much does it cost to reinforce our stock rear ends? I know new rear ends get very expensive
