funny thing is, I didn't wreck any car until I got my WS6!! haha... I hit a curb no appearance damage, but wow suspension work is expensive...

Werd, since your parents are paying for everything. My 88 GT vert would have been almost $900 for 6 months pl/pd, but we put it under my dad's name and I paid $35 a month.

fyi, if it's not your fault, it CAN'T be used against you...

unless you got screwed in some uninsured motorist fiasco... or a hit-and-run...

also, they can't use it against you if your car was parked somewhere, and someone hit you and left...

I pay like 900 a year for full coverage which is less than my 2002 v6 mustang convertible, which i had for 6-7 months. I now have a 1999 trans am, but im listed as driving a 1991 single cab ranger as my primary. Oh and im 16

Dude your 15, insurance is going to be insane for you! I remember I was your age and thats all that I wanted, a firebird. I had to have my own insurance policy and it would of cost me over $350 a month to insure (i dont remember the exact figure, it was just too insane).

Good luck to ya and remember an a4 is not as fast as an m6

the argument could go on forever... but they aren't THAT different... and you can build up the a4 to be much faster/reliable.

uh, at age 21... the cheapest I could find was from some no-name online insurance company... UNITRIN DIRECT...

I got my 2000 WS6 for $2000 a year, complete full coverage, $250 deductible. I opted out of towing and rental car, however.

Now with the SAME COMPANY, but without my father listed as the primary driver, my insurance was going to be $4500! I have no tickets, and no wrecks.

I tried progressive's site, as well as Geico... both were over $6,000 a year for the same coverage...

So I can personally recommend Unitrin Direct.. the aren't well known.. but I recently caused $3000 worth of suspension damage, from hitting a curb, and they actually covered everything... so it's not just some scam company...

just don't get any speeding tickets cause your insurance co will go ape shit, last year I went over the 3 tickets in 3 years rule and I had to go to high risk my insurance was doubled.

I'm 24.. insured with Allstate with my Camaro and my '02 WS6(Full coverage highest levels for the '02 and liability now for the Camaro as I don't drive it now) I'm paying $664 every 6 months. Thats with a clean record for the last 5 years, but a few speeding tickets and a 16 day suspension before that. So I can't complain.. and when I sell my Camaro (hopefully trading it to a guy for his '82 T/A) it will drop to $450 every 6 months.

As to the auto vs 6-speed... I REALLY was leaning to the 6 speed... but here in Jacksonville, NC the marine traffic is HORRIABLE and no one knows how to drive.. but found the same '02 WS6 black t/a with 38k miles.. but they were asking 26k for it... fuck that... I got my auto for 18k plus tax, tag, and 36,000 mile warranty.
