Do you own the car or are u making payments on it? If you're making payments, insurance tends to make coverage a bit more but 550 is puzzling. I have Progressive for full coverage and it's only 100 a month. Hell, if you can afford 550 a month go buy a new Vette!

If that's what you need to do, put it on collectors with declared value. $15,000 cost me about $500 a year... Then go buy a 3rd gen, I seen some for around $1,500 for decent ones. Then put liability on it.

No, see...you're doing it wron. The 4 banger Nissan is the DD. The Jeep is for when the snow and rain are flying, the T/A is when the road is so clean, you can see yourself in it. Class dismissed

psssh, gas mileage is for the weak. my cherokee gets like 14mpg and my ws6 gets 16mpg

but back on topic ---> called my insurance to make sure everything was good for my renewal and it turns out i didn't know i could still have like full coverage on my ws6 but wouldnt need as much (since its not being driven = no accidents) so while its in storage i only have to pay around $55 a month total for both vehicles.. for allstate!

That's what i did through Allstate. I have a cap of 7000 miles allowed per year(not that ever check). I can't drive it from November to March in the northeast anyways, so it works out great.

Check on getting your own, believe it or not... It was cheaper for me to get my own and switch.

I'm in a bit of a jam. Our 98 Z28 will be under my name in the near future, and unfortunately i have three speeding tickets. Two were in the Maxima, both going 40 in a 25 downhill, and one in the camaro going 55 in a 45. No points thankfully. Also a lady backed into my Maxima while the car was parked, so thats an accident i suppose. So does anyone know of an insurance company thats a bit lenient in my position? I can't afford high rates...

We are using Allstate and my insurance actually went down 30 bucks every 6 months when I took off an 07 Grand Prix and replaced it with my 98 WS6, this is for full coverage.
