Were you paying $140 when you were 17, and $550 at 18? Sometimes a full time student gets a big break. My highest insurance rate at 18 with a ticket and accident was $3600/year. I had a V8 Malibu.

Same, under $70 a month for basic on the Vette (63 Falcon with collectors, like $500 a year).

Free towing comes with it, no spare tire needed!
i have AAA towing already, you think it would be cheap to bundle? i'll look into it thanks man.

no i turned 18 back in august, just got the new rate this month, and i'm in college so i'm still a student. even without the good student discount, its only 10% so..

It's not really a "bundle" with AAA. I have AAA, so I get a break on Allstate. I think it's just a partnership between the company's. I think AAA works with a number of insurance companys for discounts. It's not much, maybe 5% or so. Every little bit helps though!

yes, I've done it before with estimates of cars I DIDN'T (for numberous reasons) want to fix. Shoot them a big estimate and scare them out the door.

I would check progressive. In Ohio they have a real strong pressence, but I have never had a claim either so I can not say weather they are good or bad but you can get a quote on the web. It saved me a ton to switch to them back in 05

I'm both. This makes for cheaper insurance even with all the bells and whistles.

Switch Insurance asap, they are basicly telling you that they won't pay if you're in an accident. When I was your age I tried to get on my grandma's insurance with my first f-body. They told me they would give me insurrance but I could drive the car down her throut in six months because they would drop us both when it came time to renew her policy.. My only choice then was to go it alone I payed $315 per month and had to work 2 jobs to live and pay for my then new car. Our insurance went down last year when my wife turned 25. I dunno marry a sugar mama? But yes I'd shop around there are obviously cheaper out there. That is way too high imho..
