The more paperwork the better. If you have things like a build sheet, window sticker, slp paperwork. Some cars are in near perfect condition, but they have things that arent perfect. You just dont see that on tv. Unless your car is super rare I dont think that you will get what you want at barrett jackson. You also have to remember that you will have to pay a percentage of what it sells to the auction company.

You would have to contact the dealer. The window sticker should have been on the car new. I am not even sure if they have build sheets anymore, just most of the old cars it was the only way to see what options it actually had from the factory.

You would probably have to talk to the original dealer.

Does the car have to be ALL original, or will an upgraded car depreciate?
2000 Arctic White trans am, ws6 hood, ws6 air box, slp lid, slp smooth bellows, slp loudmouth exhaust, shift kit, rebuilt trans, LS6 intake, 3.73 gears, Shaner S3 p/p throttle body, and a tune . SFC. C6 ZO6 rims 18" in back 17" in front. Drilled and slotted rotors.

PHS-online.com
(SLP has nothing to do with the WS6 cars.)
Fat chance it'll ever be a six-figure car.
If that's what yer hopin' for, ..., sell it now & invest the money in stocks/bonds/IRA's/Skittles, or anything else, ...

remember too you can always over restore it as well.....more or less seen with the older cars though

do you mean like puttin more money in the car than what you can get out of it

over restoration is like restoring the car with products that are better then the stock ones that came with it..for example...a lot of times you will see a classic thats been repainted with the original color it came in but the paint quality is much better because what was used is current paint...not the original paint that the car came with in say "1970"
