    Angry Im having Issues.

I put the AFR 205cc Mongoose heads on my car along with Crane Cams Gold Race roller rockers. After I did that I seemed to have either had a bearing in my crank go out or it has a pushrod that went bad. I have a really loud knock comming from the motor. I cant tell exactly tell what side its comming from because its so loud. I would say that it sounds more like it might be comming from the driver side rather than the passenger side. I also have really low oil pressure. I have the FAST intake manifold and Hooker supercomp headers. I just want to know if anyone has any suggestions to what they think it might be exactly. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

did you do a tune after heads/cam install.. get it to a pro shop and do an LS1Edit tune or something,, it shouldn't knock so loud. but that's my 2 cents.

Did you change your cam bearings during the swap? If so did you line up the oil journals?

I'd have the shop open it up and recheck stuff before you are getting stuck with it,, the longer u wait, it becomes ur problem.

I would get it back to the shop that did the work. If they installed a cam bearing incorrectly it will cause low oil pressure, and if that is the problem, then it is starving other parts of your engine for oil. This would cause a knock...
