As the owner of a Subaru Legacy for my daily driver, I had to vote WRX.

I don't think older cars cancelled before the F-body should be in the poll, that kind of defeats the purpose. And good luck finding an MR-2 Turbo or 300zx TT in good condition anyway.

And a Mitsubishi 3000gt? Please. That would be a major headache to maintain as a daily driver.

And if you are going to have a Mustang Cobra in the poll instead of the GT, why not the WRX STI, instead of just WRX?

Now, the Challenger, I agree, would be a viable alternative. Next down would be the Mustang, and even though they look sweet, I'd hate to have to go Ford after all these years.

Why are 3000GTs not good cars to maintain? I always wanted one as a kid....it was my favorite car in Gran Turismo 2

I would probably be driving a Supra. But to be honest, its VERY hard to find one that someone has not modded or riced the @#$% out of...that or they have like 120,000 miles and people think they can sell them for like $35,000 because its a "supra"

    Sorry, I'm bitter.

I've always wanted a viper, and this is likely the only way I'll be able to have one...in a fantasy thread on LS1.com. I'll still take it!

well to be honest i put those cars in there because I dont know much about imports. You can only learn so much from fading head lights. So if you would lke a wrx sti then just vote for the wrx

Very low production numbers on those Supras, and they were the fastest of the twin turbo crop from the 90's.

    Wouldn't mind having one myself.

I voted for the WRX, but listen, I'm not trying to start a flame war or anything, but when I think of down-home hickory-smoked BBQ grillin' small town pony car drivers who don't know 'toot 'bout no imports, I usually think of Mustang drivers, not my bretheren here on this forum.

A nice car deserves a look, import or not. European or Asian market.

Given an unlimited budget, I wouldn't hesitate one second to make a Porsche 911 Turbo my daily driver.

But I'd still have a garage full of Firebirds, from all generations.

Im sorry, but thats really just ignorant. If you look on mustang forums, the majority of the regulars respect all cars, even though they may joke and shit on them, but we do the same here. Saying mustang owners hate everything, but mustangs is just a retarded statement. Mustang regulars on forums do respect other cars, just as we do here, but they respect and praise their mustang moreso than other cars, while "insulting" other cars, ie: ls1s. On the other hand, we over here on GM land do the same exact thing.

If I am not driving the Trans Am, my next choice would be my R/T. These trucks are so much fun to drive especially modded with heads and cam. Turns heads everywhere.

Not in my experience. I have NEVER in the 481,000-MILLION-BAJALIAN Mustang GT driver encounters I've had, EVER had ONE of them recognize my Legacy GT as something that was about to kick the shit out of them at a stoplight.

I've lined up with MILLIONS of them, and raced a sum total of 0, but several F-body drivers have taken me on. Hopped up V6 Birds all the way to GTO's, GM drivers seem to know their cars, and they will race. Ford drivers? Nope.

I honestly, and without bias, believe that Mustang drivers are dumber.

Sorry, but that's from my own experiences. When I'm in the Trans Am though, they come crawling out of the woodwork to line up with it.

    --

Back in the 80's, I had a 300zx Turbo with an HKS boost controller and exhaust. It ran low 14s (a huge improvement from stock, and quite capable of blowing the doors off a stock GT at the time), but I had a heck of a time getting Mustang drivers to bite on that one.

Finally put a license plate on there that read GTSLAYR. That solved that problem.

At last count, I had beat around 500 of them, and most had no idea what had just happened.

    Yep. Mustang drivers=Dee deedee.

Like I said, between the Challenger or Charger.......Challenger for sure. No way I'm driving a 4 door. Dodge ruined the Charger name IMO. That would be like making a 4 door Firebird. Think about that for awhile!!!!!!!!
