I saw a Forumla Firehawk today...

...and I gotta say it's the best lookin' of the 4th generation Firebirds, imho. It was black and I believe was an LS1 model. The guy who helped me install the LM on my car has or had a black '02 Formula Firehawk, with cloth seats. It was an amazing car. I love the more stealthy look of it over the Trans Am Firehawk.

its all personal preference but i barely ever see any LS1 cars up here and when i do it is usually a t/a ws6 I love the look of them and i was actually looking for one when i bought mine but now i've been around for a while i am very glad i got a formy and i love it, would like to have a formy ws6 but beggars can be choosers, can always get a hood. Firehawks are beautiful also.

Of course it's all personal preference. I just prefer the look of the 4th generation Formula over the Trans Am in general. And it's the lightest of all the 4th generation 8-cylinder f-bodies too.

Yep, it is. Like the Camaro, it's both aggressive, yet has somewhat more conservative lines over that of the Trans Am. Stealthy.

Somehow I'm doubting it's lighter than the B4C hardtop z28's.

Okay, you're right, I mean factory to dealership. The B4C Police Camaro was the lightest.

Probably the next vehicle I have will have this formula bumper regardless if its a formula or not. I really do love the look of it.

No, you really don't. I very rarely see a Formula of any kind around here.

I saw an LT4 Firehawk a couple weeks ago, thought I might get to run him a little bit, he was in front of me as I merged onto 75 from I-44. But then he took the I-44 exit Sounded mean as hell though... I really like all the Firehawks.

    blacker than wesleysnipes
    98' trans am

the only thing that bugs me with the formy's are the small wing and the rear bumper ..too bubbly for my own taste..if i had a formy firehawk i would keep her stock..but if i had a formy ws6..id throw a trans am wing on her and look into a possible t/a rear bumper on her too..but the front bumpers are just amazing

I believe it was a formy, it did not have the t/a wing if I'm remembering right. And I think the tag read "BUHBYE" or something like that, so I'm guessing it's got some stuff done to it...

You like the "front" bumper? If so, that makes it look like the girl down the street, v6 Firebird. IMO, I really don't like the blend in look. Also, the wing makes up 50% of the mean look of the car. Without it, again it LOOKS just like a boring piece o'v6 bird. Thank god for America, where opinions are born

im sorry, i dont know what all the hype is about these. the ws6 firehawk is waaaayyy sexier imo. the formula firehawks look like v6's with a more aggressive hood.

    http://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_...0001_large.jpg

just not my cup of tea. and all this talk about being lighter, ill take my bulkier hood, high spoiler and rear bumper over saving the 100lbs...
