Bet you'll never let her run two quarts low again! J/K.

Well...now you have a good reason for a bad ass engine build!

    Good Luck.

I just recently had to decide whether to sink thousands into a rebuild or not also. It's a tough call. The problem is it all snowballs. If the engine is torn down I felt like it would be retarded to not put in some good pistons, rods, cam, etc. None of that will make power w/o intake and exhaust, then it needs a stall, etc., etc. I just couldn't budjet all that and didn't want to rebuild the engine stock so I sold it.

I did the opposite. mine was bone stock and i blew it up so i went ahead and did all the mods at once. i think i spent like $6000-$7000 but that was on everything. it was money well spent and im glad i kept my car.

Ouch that was a expencive mistake, it hurts just hearing about it cuz I have been there. Not with my T/A but with my Blazer, it blew up on me coming home from snowboarding, the Rockie mountains are tough on engins, but park that thing and fix replacing the bottom half is alot cheaper then replacing the whole thing...
