i need more hp!!!!!
so hear is my problem. I know nitrous is the best option but I am looking for more ideas. And I know a turbo is a option to but throw me some other stuff. I want 500hp this is what I have. 99 ws6 m6,2.5 5.3l heads,ms3cam.slp oil pump, double roller chain.slp lid, fast 92/92,160stat,36lb injectors, underdrive pulley,lt's,true duals,no cats, moser m9 w/4.10,and all the suspension upgrades sfc,stb etc etc etc. I am sitting around 465rwhp right now, so I only need another 40. what about different fuel rails so what do you guys think? and what would I be looking at for power if I did go with a procharger with about 8lbs of boost? but I am trying to keep it na. thanks guys.and gals if your out there

Hmmm, seems like you got most of the mods covered for NA power. Only thing I can think of to get you to 500hp is more CI's.

well upgrade your injectors ....they are way to small for your set up...you are starving your set up.

i have 36lb injectors. the car was recently tuned less then one month. I havent ported the heads because witht he cam I think i will have to fly cut the pistons. and I have not ported the intake or matched it up to the heads. thanks

i am pretty sure with the ms3 cam you dont need to fly cut the pistons with the 5.3 heads...talk to texas speed or another highly regarded speed shop....i believe you can even mill some off of the 5.3 along with porting to get more compression and get yourself closer to that 500 mark.

i think all and all even after those you might be around just short of 500...i'd say by between 15-10....it might be time to get a new cam..a custom grind one..that would be able to get you to the 500 mark if the ported heads and intake dont.

thanks alot, and you did not miss read the fuel injectors I forgot to include them at first. I will talk to the guy who did my set up and ask him about porting the heads. the 500hp number is nice but at the end of the day I just want to be in the 11's how close do you think I will be with this setup?
