I Love My Car Because......

1) No stupid non-defeatable yaw control. In fact, it was never offered!
2) The DRLs are amber, not gay headlights.
3) My car never had traction control, my right foot is my TC dammit!
4) Non bolted on,functional hood scoops, with raised air box.
5) 2754017 factory size tires all around!
6) 6 forward speeds, changed when I want to, not when the computer does (yeah I lost the skip shift!).
7) The seatbelt reminder only beeps 5x then shuts up. Some cars (Fords) scream at you 24x or more, 2x a minute, if you are not buckled up, EVEN IF ALL YOU DO IS START THE DAMN CAR AND LEAVE IT IN PARK AND NEVER MOVE!
8) Can't beat the V8 for all the right sounds it makes (esp. w/headers!)
9) I have gotten 28.4 MPG more than two tanks, on the highway, 75-80 MPH with AC on as needed, and it has gone 12.89 @ 109.9 at the drag strip with that highway MPG.

i love my car because it fits me perfect and ls1 would just be a bonus to me, but I know alot more about the lt1 and it would take me forever to learn the ls1 as well. I just love my car!!!

thanks. Mine isn't that great. just a couple bolt ons right now. i'll have full exhaust soon then im taking the heads off for some work. it'll be nicely tuned in the next 6months. right now it's just a bolt on car. I still love it. It just fits me so well.

This is a little off topic but i gotta know....My friend has a 94 Camaro Z28 (which is one of the reasons im now on the hunt for a Trans Am) and it impresses the hell outta me that its 14 year old car that sounds awesome and it has a $h!tload of power but so far has been very reliable it still runs great with 100,000 miles. NOW....weve been arguing about this for a while but it seems people refer to the LT1 as an LTslow?...he doesnt go to the car shows because he says that the LT1 is nothing to show off.....which by the way before he heard about the so called "LTslow" he was damn proud of the car. Now dont get me wrong, its his fault for listening to these people but the people that say that to him are chevy owners....my question is: Why does the LT1 have this reputation?
in my opinion that engine stock is one bad mutha! (sorry about carrying on like this)

mine has 140000 miles and it is extremely reliable. i have no problems with mine at all. and everyone who says it's slow I take for rides in it. a bolt on lt1 car run with stock ls1's

Lightening, LT1s were the shit until the all aluminum, 6-bolt main LS1 came out. People who say that are snobs. Hell, even our "awesome" LS1 has been surpassed by GM. Long live the proper V8!

Yeah, all that and my WS6 fullfilled my childhood dream of walking into a Pontiac dealership and buying a brand new Ram-Air Ragtop (literaly) off the showroom floor.
