Talking i couldnt stay away guys!!

well after selling my 98 T/A about 9 months ago,iam dying for another one i miss mine lol..but this time iam gonna go for a ws6 dont care what year or miles. this is the plan, TSP 383 stroker, six speed, moser 9",an maybe a 100 shot, some pro stars an m/t slicks for the drag setup an some TT2's for the street, futral motorsports custom tune, slp lid, kooks long tubes, catless y pipe, magnaflow catback,an eibach pro kit,90mm tb,an a good paint job iam gonna try to get black or red. but thats the plan its gonna be alot of money but iam saving i should be a proud memeber of a ws6 in about 6 months hopefully an then the project begins lol..iam looking for a weekend warrior that can go to the track an pull off a 10.99 at least or a little lower. so what do you guys think, does this sound like a good setup for my goals?

I am sure the issues have been fixed, but wrist pin clearance issues were a problem using the stroker in the stock block.

Would rather go with something proven and solid. 402/408

No replacement for displacement, some say otherwise tho talking about boost and such, but if I boost my 408 with the same amount of psi you are I am sure mine is still gonna be faster lol. Always told my buddy that who is all into 4 cylinders, he would get mad and jump straight to the whole well mines cheaper booshit.

All depends, on the head/cam/comp ratio/drivetrain all plays a factor in how much power you make and get to the ground. Naturally aspirated and built for the street about 470-550whp.

Well that number also depends on dynos. A buddy of mine put down 460whp when getting tuned and trapped 129mph which seemed pretty high for that power in a car that weighs almost 3500lbs with the 200lbs driver in it. Dynoed it on a dynojet and put down almost 520whp. And just cause you have a 408 doesnt mean its built to rumble, some people try to make them extremly streetable with near stock idles and what not.

There is a red 2000-2002 ws.6 for sale in this area (didn't see year listed, but I can tell by the emission set up since I own a 99). Its got like 18" wheels on it and a custom red interior. Motor appears all stock tho. I didn't see a listed price cuz they were closed for the day, but I can get a price for you if you wish.

    Here is the info:

    Supreme Autoz
    (219) 595-0569
5607 W Ridge Rd, Gary, IN

I called them, but I think they are out to lunch. The car appears to be in great physical condition...I'd buy it myself if I had the capital tho the only physical thing (minor I guess) I did notice both the splash guards in the front wheel wells are missing.
