How often to change?
Just like the title asks, how often do you guys change your spark plugs? And wires? I have MSD wires and my car is a garage queen so how long do you suggest changing the wires and plugs?

Iridiums can go well north of 50,000 miles without a problem. Standard plugs I will run for no more than 25,000 miles. Probably change the wires every 5 years or 75,000 miles. You'll probably get a myriad of answers to this one.

My car sits more than it drives, as far as my MSD wires they still look new after 3 yrs and have 15k on them so Ihave no need to change them. I figure if they start lookiing dryrotted or after like 5 or 5 yrs maybe. Plugs I change every 2 yrs usually probably could go longer but i like a fresh set every couple yrs. My original plugs were in the car for 10 yrs and almost 70k and were still not completely bad. Wires had to be changes under warranty since one went bad they put a new set on. So the wires were 6 yrs old.
1998 Trans Am 85k miles.
