When I was searching for my WS6 I probably looked at 50 or 100 cars on line and 90% of the time T/As cost more then Zs. You can search autotrader.com and see this.

Sounds like a fair price, not a steal but it is fair... steals are usually too good to be true anyway.
Buy it and post up pics!

These cars can take one HELL of a beating. They were meant to be run. I know the owner before drove the car pretty hard and i have yet to have big problem with mine. I got mine with only 38k on it. Go for it. A good portion of people who own these cars take car of them, and you can usually tell pretty easily if they have or havent. Offer him significantly lower than what he'll take and work your way up from there, youll get a few hundred off.99 TA-T56 swapped, Lid, TB Bypass, LS6 Intake, !EGR, !AIR, Custom Cam, Mids, O/R-Y, 3:73s, Cutout, Flowmaster.

I'm not sure most people take care of these cars, I searched for a long time. Many of the ones I looked like they had issues.....SES light was one, dents, scratches and so on. It was a long process for me to find a good price on a car that was taken care of.

I looked for a long long time. Most have been ran to death,,,rearends can't take much, synchro's worn from "Ronnie Sox" wannabe's trying to bang gears, scratches everywhere, sitting outside year round, low budget mods etc.....just check everything carefully. If you can or have access to one,,,,hook up a scanner, programmer and see if the computer is still accessable,,,hopefully it's not locked from a previous tuner,,,and drive down the road while scanning to see anything out of the oridinary,,,thats one advantage to having a computer controlled car before plunking down your cash.

I believe that is a good price, and it appears that the previous owner has taken care of the car. I would as the seller to crank the car and take you for a ride. You have been driving your mustang so you should have a feel for performance or hipe!2001WS6 T/A slp lid, smooth bellows, Taylor Thundervolt wires, Bosch+4, Vig 3200 stall, BM trans cooler, SLP 3" Y-pipe, 3" corsa catback, preditor custom tune by RWTD, 275/17BFG'S. 1976T/A 455-4spd-3:42
