you know he's selling it after only 4000 miles on the mods for a reason right? And most likely not a good one..

I'd also ask to see the dyno sheet that shows 500rwhp out of a heads/cam LS1.... I'm also guessing he's including labor into all those dollar amounts.

tru its the time that sounds funny. and yes a dyno sheet is some thing i would want to see to. i have a cam and full bolt ons on my car and suspenson but i only have 15k miles on it. so there are some out there that are moded but dont get out much.

no way its even worth 9.5 Id say 8.5 max for a modded car with almost 100k mi.

Navy Blue Metallic- 98 T/A, 00 FBVert, 78T/A
I paid $6500 for an all stock 98 T/A 2 yrs ago.
From what I've heard and seen a modded car usually brings the car value down to most ppl unless the seller can show work was done by a known professional shop.
I'd ask for dyno sheet to.
Since he had a C/H done ask if these have been done too: New oil pump and timing chain? > 98's LS1 engines have a oil pump issue and if it wasn't replaced while they tore it down now you have to look out for it, also in regards to the timing chain, it's just sound mechanics to replace a timing chain when you swap out a cam.
I'm not trying to talk you out just giving you some stuff to think about. I hate seeing ppl get ripped off by shady sellers.

White- 1998 WS6
guerilla killer you were absolutely right. i bought the car and the piston to valve clearance was too close. it did burn away some money since it broke the rockers but it wasnt all that bad. everything was done at vette doctors. since it was fixxed i put in about 5000 miles myself and about 500 a week.

Black- 2002 SS Camaro
I accidentally voted for 9.5 but I want you to look for another car if your willing to pay 9.5-12.5 for this car with smoke coming out of its ass

Must be some top of the line 225cc heads with a HUGE cam and FAST intake set-up for that kind of money, even if you did consider install cost. I don't think I've ever seen a H/C/I car put 500 to the ground. At least not done by anyone but a builder and those are far and few between as we both know.
