I have taken 3 R6s on freeway runs with my 87 supra making 517rwhp. When it al lcomes down to it there are alot of factors, im guessing you mean a full weight T/A, My girlfriends uncle builds cages and does frame work and his 98 formula weighs under 2900Lbs, i have seen alot of 600s do mid to low 11s, and i have seen some do 10s, the 11 second bikes, with a good drive train and 400rwhp a f-body can do low 11s. With a 600rwhp and good drive train and suspension setup i have seen quite a few do low 10s, have even seen a few 600rwhp f-bodys touch 9.8s. It really depends on the bike and the driver.

e.t has nothing to do with outrunning a bike. Trap speed is what matters if your running from a roll of course. most of these newer 600s are trappin in the upper 120's low 130's. if your not anywhere close to that in the 1/4....forget about it. your not touchin it.

Well put. Bikes are extremely hard to launch which is why pros are so much faster then your average joe. You can beat 600s with a high 11 car if he is in the wrong gear or underestimates you. With a good rider a 600 will smoke just about any street car. You need a serious low 10 high 9 street car to beat any well ridden 600cc+ modern sportbike.

On the lowering question, Gadson straps down the front end of those 600s to get the low times using what is basically a tow strap. Using a lowering link is not going to lower your times it's the front end you want down. I believe it's about preloading the front suspension more then it is about lowering the bike.

I love the bike vs. car debate I hear guys all the time saying they beat this bike or that bike. All I know is I have never had a car beat me on any bike that I've ever owned. I've raced a lot of fast cars (all from rolls) some with over 600hp and they all end up in my mirrors. That being said I've beat plenty of Harleys and cruisers with various cars over the years but those are 80hp pigs.

unfortunately for most bikers theyre 9 second 600 is a high 11s bike with them behind the tank. you can slip up and beat a 600. but it doesnt happen often.

if it makes anyone feel any better i raced an r1 the other day.

    i beat it.

i caught him 2 miles up the road at a stop light and pushed him off of his rig.

if you have the cajones you can beat a 600 on top end i raced one on the highway from a 60 mph roll on in my c5 though, and he was a car and a half ahead of me till about 130 135 and I passed him at 150 this was obviously longer than a 1/4 mile but 600's are nothing now a busa or 1000 good luck unless your car can do 190 dont waste your gas or risk a ticket
