    Depends on the bike.
A lot of new 600cc bikes are very fast.

I suppose the most simplistic way of finding out, would be to find out their quarter mile times. I think the new 600's are low 10s stock.

So whatever HP/ set up it takes to get a LS1 in that time bracket would be my guess.

I am sorry buddy but the viper owner was not racing your friend. A 250 ninja makes like 30hp. And you can have a 360hp car and beat alot of 600's. But not most. I have been 10.70 on a zx6 with just exhaust, gear, and lowered. And I am 200lbs.

i have seen a lot of 600's in the 10's so i would say a lot of work needs to be done to the car

Most 600 bikes are low 11s, high 10s, i have seen some ls1 cars do low 11s with 430rwhp.

Most newer 600's are capable of 10's. Most riders are not capable of getting 10's out of them but you never know. To smoke one you would need a consistent low to mid 10 second car. As for a 250 Ninja smoking a Viper, yeah I don't think so. 250 Ninjas are 14 second bikes with no top end. You couls take two plugs out of the Viper and still beat the Ninja.

Yeah, The guy in the viper probably didn't want to waste his gas on a 250. Specially since the vipers get like 8mpg.

If you realy think that a 30hp motorcycle can beat a 400+hp viper than you need to take a seat, drink a cold bottle of water, and think about it for a second. Or you can come work for me at my job and you may be my number one sales person. I think Kawasaki my even give you a free EX250 Ninja

A 250 Ninja beating a Viper is like a moped beating a trans am. Either the Viper wasn't racing or your buddy was full of shit.
