Silver- 1998 Trans Am
How much Horse?
I have a 98 Trans am....and from what I heard and in my manual it says i have 305 hp and 335 torque.....but then I read that GM just said that and it actual has more so it wouldnt out sell the Vette?....is there any truth to this?

yes, all ls1's came stock with 345 HP and about 325 TQ at the fly. You prolly have around 290 wheel-hp [stock] add a few bolt ons [like a cat back and aftermarket air lid] and you'll be up around 315 to the wheels.

haha sorry...i feel dumb for asken this but if i dont ask i wont find out so, what does it mean at the fly & at the wheels?

at the "fly" flywheel how much power you are making with the engine itself
at the "wheels" how much power you are actually putting to the ground after parasitic loss through the drive train... tranny driveshaft.. rear end...
