Of course 24k is too much...22k is too much...20k is too much...blah, blah, blah. The eBay example is too funny. "Female owner". Oh, like that makes a difference (lol). See the size of "her" mitts? Looks like a French manicure on a lumberjack!

    haahahah

OK I think the general consensus is that it's too much, thanks!

Now on to another question: I found an 01 that seems perfect for me, it's nearby, low miles, haven't discussed price yet, but should be reasonable, but it's an 01. I was looking at 02s, only because it was the last year, and I thought that might be a better purchase. What do you guys think?

Those are both very nice, thanks! I'll at least use them for comparison. Both have too many miles for me, but are very cool. I'm starting to consider the 30th anniversary birds, but they're somewhat old, and I just feel like that means more time for people to beat on them!

im gonna have to disagree with everyone. a bone stock mint condition 2002 ws6 with under 30k miles should be in the $20k's. i have seen them go in the higher teens, but those are pretty lucky deals

hes asking for a good deal tho....if your selling your car and got the right person you COULD get into the 20's......but i wouldnt advise buying one in the 20's.....theres plenty out there for high teens no need to get one in the 20's

Thanks, yeah, I'm sure that someone will pay in the 20s, I just don't wan to. I'm not looking to screw a seller, either, I just want it for a fair price, not too high, not too low. I also think that eBay often attracts the highest prices for cars, so I'm looking elsewhere, too. I have found a few on craigslist, mostly 01s, though, so maybe I'll start looking at those. Those sellers are asking in the high teens, and are negotiable.

I did a lot of watching prior to purchasing my 2001 which, wasn't that long ago. I spent a lot of time investigating online. AutoTrader.com, cars.com, eBay, Craigslist.com and dealers local and nationwide.

I paid in the 20's for mine. Low mileage, mint, unaltered TA's are hard to find; especially in Michigan. As far as the 2001 vs. 2002, meeting the above mentioned criteria, they're all about the same price.

I purchased mine with the intention of keeping it for many years. If you're going through a little phase whereas you just have to have one now and you'll probably dump it in a year or two, then buy cheap. It'll just have the higher mileage, bruises and war-stories.

Like I stated in my first response, <<Is it really a matter of "what's it worth to everyone else"? Bottomline...what's it worth to YOU and how long do you plan on keeping it.>>

Yeah I would say that is a little to high. I bought my white 2002 WS.6 for $22,000 last year but when I bought it the car only had 3800 miles on it.

Ahhh...the Jacksonville thing. A bud of mine just got jerked by what he said was a guy from Jacksonville. Supposed to be a "Prestine" vehicle. Yeah right. All he did was hand wash the vehicle for the first time and OMG! I saw the before and after. There was some kind of coating on the paint and glass that covered up all of the minor scratches, scuffs and hard water damage. The guy to this day hasn't been able to remove the glass stains. Seems to be imbedded in the glass. So all I can say is watch out for the Jacksonville sales! Additionally, like the other guy said, way over priced in Jacksonville.
