How many gallons does the fuel tank hold?

I think the 98 has a different size than the 99-02 I am guessing its 16.8 for the later years

In 98 the tanks were 14.5 gallons. I read in a specs section that the 00 and up models have a 15.5 gallon tank. I know I read that somewhere for a "fact". The 1999 F-body models might have also had the 15.5 gallon tank? -not sure

1998 was the last year to use the 15.5 gallon steel fuel tank then from 1999-2002, they used a 16.8 gallon plastic tank.
