I Know this is an old post, but I just checked that price. Its listed at 190$. Is that just inflation? Any other options?

No unfortunatly they are that high for a piece of plastic that is still going to crack.

If you do get a new one I recommend 2 things.

Beef up the under side with (damn it mind went blank) plastic weld?!? Sorry lost the name of it

The 2nd is a dash pad (rug). For some reason it keeps them from cracking further.

There are some that look good. When I get back hm I'll pm you where I got mine.

I'm new to the forum, but this has been helpful. Unfortunately, the price of this part must be linked to the price of gold. It is now $300.30 from GM Parts Direct (and retails for $516.51). I'll have to check the salvage yards!

You would think so, but it is mostly because the manufactor as either stopped making them or reduce production.
