I did see the same show on Horsepower over the weekend. They had engine hooked to Dyno so at the flywheel they got an 8hp gain over regular oil, but it all varies per application. And 8hp at the flywheel is like, i don't know, 1rwhp.

Besides that the engine they used was baby new. Did they even break it in before running it like they did. I don't know.

Anyways, It was an interesting show, but not enough to convince me to switch from castrol full synthetic to royal purple.

lmfao! best thread ever! z/s for subaru did the same bs run, and they forgot to add they did an ecu reset as well, which on back to back dyno runs will show on average a 5hp gain until the ecu relearns.

well if you would have read we all pretty much agreed to making a power gain on switching form conventional oil to synthetic,

    lol
as for not working on our own vehicles, i got a 30k dollar snap on box full to the brim with tools, i bet this comes in handy when im looking for someone else to wrench on my camaros,.

let me help you out, there is some electrical connection that are hard to get to underneath the headlights, they go to your fog lights, get some of you super duper horsepower making cleaner out and clean off all those connections you might be able pick up a few hp...

hey mr luos, you should let this guy clean off all those connections in your engine bay for you, at least they will all be exposed so he can get to them quicker, i bet he guarantees a power gain, ask him
