Hood paint job estimate?

I am most likely going to buy a vfn fiberglass ws9 hood and wondered what the cost would typically be for arctic white and a baking session to dry it out.
What have you guys paid for this kinda thing?

It depends my guess would be about 400 ta 500 and thats if they install it but I would say thats a good guess, call around if you have enough body shops around there and get a few prices and make sure the body shop is gonna do a good job, your spending alot of money so you wanna make sure it gets done right the first time

Thanx, i'll be calling a few places tomorow. I'll most definitly be installing it myself. That's if there's nothing wrong with the fitting. I've heard great things about vfn but ya never no i guess.

I got my WS6 style hood painted and installed for $600.

Just picked mine up from the body shop today. WS-9 from US Exotics.

Prep, prime, paint... $500. I'm extremely happy with the results.

here is something funny, i have a 97 ws6 and i got an estimate for my hood to be painted and the estimator told me it would be 1150 she handed me the papers and i laughed and threw them in the trash beside her desk. i guess a big shop needs to rape people so they can pay the wages of all the worthless fat asses that sit at their desks and play solitare all day. anyone else had any rediculous quotes?
