I see. Nice car to learn how to drive with! And, keeping the NOS off until you have more experience driving, great idea. HP is addicting, don't ask us how we know.

hahahah wow, reminds me of my first car 97 firebird, boy all the things I did in that car, when you are old enough to drive it by yourself remember lay the back seat down their is plenty of room to rock that boat if you do that hahahaha. And yes I would wait before you start spraying it drive it for a little while so you can get used to how it handles and acts in different situations. And hp is addictive, I had mine for 4 years, and last july when I went on leave I bought a 00 ws6, cause my little brother totaled the bird in december of 08.

Nice first car fo sho! What other mods do you have? If you don't have any other basic mods I would start with those first! Then add the 100 shot when you're ready! Keep her clean!

Sounds like you got a good head on your shoulders. Resonable and responsible people are the kind of individuals that I enjoy sharing a passion of fast cars with.

take it to the track or find a wide empty road, point where you want to go and hold on I would start out doing it in second-do it you'll respect the car more once it scares you

just read the rest of the thread wait until you get full domain over the car keys.

Nice car! I too started with a Firebird, great beginner car Then moved to a 76 Nova. had a 400 small block in it! Too much for a 18 yr old kid! Damn near killed myself in it! After I crashed it stayed away from fast cars for a while....then that damn hp bug struck again! Have fun with it, just be careful!

You cant drive on the road yet but at most tracks you could. Have mom drive you to the track and you can test out the nitrous in a safe environment. Good way to learn about legal racing too.
