    .
im not talking about which car is more popular sales wise.

all im saying is that T/As start life as a formula.
while i may say it in a crude type of way, it is more or less true.

like the bat wing isnt ugly.

i never said one car looked better than the other, i said a T/A is a riced out formula.

when you say riced out you make it seem as if it should have a fart can on the back of it, and wtf does having a ram air hood have to do with "having a small dick"

The wing on the T/A is not ugly. It's one of the few that follow the lines of the car perfectly. And, just because the import crowd started going crazy and putting big ass wings on every type of car they could get their hands on, doesn't mean that every car that has one is a "ricer". And if you want to be that way...

    Formula = poor mans T/A.

    looks are personal opinion.

while you can say the a formula is a poor mans T/A, just remember it started off as a formula and had a body kit and wing added to it.

Well, that IS the major difference. Different front and rear fascias, side skirts, and a wing. Technically a body kit, although a tasteful factory one.

    WS6 was available on Formula's till '00, so other than the WS6 '01 & '02, there's no upgraded performance to the T/A.

And as far as I know, all the standard T/A luxo features were optional on the Formula, I know mine sure has alot of options.

Both cars appeal to different tastes, there's really no need to keep arguing over this.

When it comes down to it they're both Firebirds, and both the same car under the surface.

I'd be happy with either one.

Hey, at least they aren't CAMAROs!!

Must be why you got a vette. Now you don't have to worry about turning any heads when you go to a car show...as common as the new Mustang GT. That is all.

You know when I see the small wings on the birds what they remind me of. Like a pitbull that had has it's ears cut off. Swear thats what they look like to me.

My lowly little '97 Formula stickered at $41,717. And it ain't even an almighty LS1. What was your T/A?

My opinion...I do like the T/A's better in the 98+ (I don't care for the Formula's nose), but I prefer the Formula in the the 93-97's.

I didn't pay that much....it stickered for that.

Know what else?...I had a '98 T/A Firehawk on order until they cancelled them. When they did, I went and picked up my '97 LT4 Formula Firehawk off the showroom floor for $36,300 out the door. I haven't regretted not waiting on the '99 since, either. I passed 2 LS1 T/A's on the 11 minute ride home form work last night, a red one, and a black WS-6. Guess how many Formulas I passed? None. That's what I like. My car is different. One of 29 built, one of one with the options it has.
