I've seen several special edition ta/camaros on ebay, are they really worth $30k-$40k? Or are these people just trying to make a dollar?

Sorry, but I can not stand the small wing, it's almost as if it's not there...my apologies to my fellow Firebird/Forumla owners...personal preference

I think it woul be a fully loaded car before treatment. Who takes a almost non option car and make it special edition ?, NO ONE

Yea when I found it, I kind of scratched my head... like 'why a formula?'(no offence formula dudes), but the #'s are very impressive 380HP and 400 FT are pretty sweet for a 'factory' car.

the first one. the silver was on ls1tech or on here about 3 months ago. guy wanted 40k for it then.

Well he does say it right... in 20 years or so they'll sell them at the barrett jackson auction for $80K. That is of course if you can just throw $30-40 down and sit on it for 20 years un-driven. (To me it's a very weak investment)

Barret-Jackson is a joke(but that's a whole other thread!)

Year One Edition Formula's were only built in `02
But you could get a Blackbird T/A in `01 and `02.

the only mods done to that car are a lid and exhaust.
anybody and everybody does those.
its no faster than a regular formula or trans am with a lid and exhaust

Not a fan. Some of that stuff looks so cheap and tacky (pinstripes, license plate area painted, etc).
