HELP with WS6 Hood Scoops

I really need some help with the scoops on the GM WS6 Hood. Do they come out? I though I remember a while back that there was some info but I couldn't find it via the search. I just got my car back from the body shop and the scoop where it meet with the hood doesn't look to clean there are tiny paint strips that you can see. The scoop looks like a two piece but I can't figure out how to take these off and show the body shop what a crappy job they did! Thanks in advance

yes they come out but i dont own a OEM hood so I dont know how...

Was it an aftermarket hood or OEM from a WS6/stealership?

Pics would help in this situation

its an OEM from GM .. I'm talking about the part that the black grills screw into .... that scoop ... I remember some time ago that this was the debate between the OEM and the Aftermarket.

I took mine out and you will need to drill out the rivets that hold the baffles if that is what you want.

I think it turned out terrific.
