Headlights
Hey, everyone.
Well, just last night, seemingly for no reason, my headlights started making this God awful grinding noise after they close. I can only assume it's the motor. It's very loud and lasts for several seconds after they've closed. It sounds to be coming from the driverside.
Another weird thing is that when the noise started, my headlights started popping up when I turn the alarm on/off. Something it never did before. Any tips or diagnoses are welcome.
Thanks, guys.

Its probably just the plastic gear, you can buy aftermarket metal ones so it doesnt happen again.

Awesome. Thanks a lot.
Just got back in from lunch. Driver's side window got stuck twice coming up. Had to wait a little bit and then raise it the rest of the way. My '91 Camaro's driverside window acted the same way before it died on me. WTF with these cosmetic issues all of a sudden...

its the plastic gear more than likely. sounds exactly like what happened to my car. just give the plastic gear a 180 degree turn for a quick fix.
