    Headlights

I have read in this forum about headlights and the issues that come with them. My passanger side headlight is not flipping up and i was wondering if anyone could help me out.? I also read about brass gears for the headlight motor? Or brass gears for something having to do with the headlight assembly. Would anyone Know where i could buy these or order them? I am no mechanic by any means so any help would be appretiated.

Doesn't sound like the motor. Sounds like the weather pack that the motor wire connects too. If the motor was going out it would make a grinding sound when activated. Pull the headlight off (not hard) and check the weather pack connection (5 wire connector for motor and low and high beams) mine was corroded and I had to replace it. No problems since.
