Headlight works sometimes
I went out to the car in the garage and turned the headlights on and they both poped up and when I turned them off only the passenger side went down. The car was not running at this time.
I then got the keys and turned the lights on so the passenger side would pop up and then I started the car and went for a little drive (about 4 miles) with the lights up, then I turned them off and they both went down.
Whats going on?

Sounds like your headlight gear(s if both) are about to be stripped out. You have a couple of options.
Best - swap the plastic gear out for a brass or aluminum one.
Cheapest - rotate the gear 180*. The motor only uses one half.

Sorry its not the brass gear in the motor because I installed them last June and besides the light didn't grind when it went up or down.
I'm thinking that it might be loose mounting bolts for the headlight motor, or a bent stop bar for that motor, or moisture got in the electrical connection for the motor, or that the battery is putting out to low of voltage.

Check the electrical connector for the headlight that connects it to the body harness. Even though it is a weather sealed type connector mine still got corroded and would ground properly. I ended up having to replace the pins inside the connector to complete the circuit properly.
