Headlight keeps going OUT!?

I just replaced my low beam headlight on my 99, and now 2 weeks later its out again. Are you guys thinking it was a faulty lamp or could somethin else be going on? Thanks

Ive posted the same thing many times... get different connector ends(cheap at local part stores) and grease the holy piss outta them.. I drive in a lot of rain/sleet/snow as well...

oh really, you have a part number or anything for that? i never really have had to deal with headlights and stuff. thanks for the advice

85896 $5.99 low beam socket

is that a part number that will work at kragen or is that specific to a particular auto parts store,just did mine for the second time in 6 months also. Was told to use silicone to cause the seals suck on the lights.
