    Headlight Conversion Kit

Anyone know of an actual headlight conversion kit to replace original lenses with better ones. I'm not talking about switching them to non-pop up.

I bought a conversion kit long time ago but my lights are still crap. I mean I have silver star bulbs in them, but I still can't see. My b/f thinks the housing is the problem, so maybe I can find new converted housings?

any suggestions on websites or anything?

nope. the conversion kit you bought is the only one on the market. it's horrible quality and costs over a grand new. some of the 6 1998 firehawks came with fixed headlights, but good luck getting your hands on one of those units.

SexyWS6Mama, maybe you just need to re-aim you headlights? Or have a shop or body shop aim them.

I agree with Cutlass you might just need to reaim them. I had the problem where I couldn't see anything too, but one of my lights were out too. I went to replace them and they were aimed up really high. I fixed them so they were aiming where they were suppose to be and it fixed my problem. Hope this helps you.

These come with new bulbs as well. Also, you would now have an HID option if you want.

    Thank you.

I'm assuming the ancient style lights you have are the eurolights? The link I posted are exact fit, and are made of glass. They should definately be a cheap upgrade for you.

That is correct...the same size at least.

I don't remember off hand if the trucks original lights were sealed beam or not; but these will pop right in. Combine these and ddmtunings' hid kit, and watch out.

Whoops on the non-sponsor link. Sorry

The best setup is a guy building projector headlights with HIDs. Output blows away the sealed or conversion beam housings with HIDs. They are pricey, but this is what I'm saving my $ for.

No other way around fitting projectors into these cars that don't require any cutting. This kit doesn't need any hacking. Big plus IMO plus I don't mind how they look since I would only ride around with them on during the night, not in the day.

Ok, I was going to delete the link; but I just looked through the sponser list, and none of them sells anything remotely equivalent to these...much less, the stock sealed beams. So I don't think that link is taking money out of anyones pocket. Just trying to help.
