    Headers? How much?

hey guys, looking to get headers. Have learned from reading here to stay away from SLP's, but how much can I expect to pay for kooks, or pacesetters? And where would you recommend getting them?

Pacesetter like mentioned are $295, KOOKS are about $900 for just the headers. Add a catted y pipe its another like $500.

    Don't forget the Y-pipe cost also, ...
And if you decide you need a cat'ed Y-pipe or not, ...

I paid $500 for Pacesetters Coated LT with ORY pipe from eBay. I noticed they are cheaper now ($400) with free shipping from Shamrock Performance.

Hooker has stainless now for 543 for the headers and 373 for the Y from Jegs. That's about the best cheapest stainless I've seen.

Thanks guys, another question. Would loosing the cats cause my engine light to stay on? or is there a bypass sensor available?

I jsut ordered my Hooker LT coated last Thursday night from Jeg's. I got them yesterday morning and they sure look sweet! Also got the ORY which is 3" and looks huge. I paid $829 for it all. Really fast service from these guys.

Also, to turn off the rear 02 codes you need a Predator or something similar. It will turn off EGR and AIR codes also. I think the would also disable the catalyst efficiency if you go w'ORY.
