    Header question?

Hey I was wanting some in-put. I am planning on buying some pacesetter longtubes for my 02 ws6 and I was wondering what the main difference is between the "0ff-road" and the w/emmissions ones. I was wanting to know what you guys think about these and which ones yout reccomend. Thanks

Get the off road ones and ditch the air pipes.

but my main question is do the off road ones eliminate the CATS? Cause I would like to get the ones that did for more sound and power.

You'll need 02 simms or a custom tune to get around the ses light.

LT1's are a pita, ls1's are pretty easy. Take a look at a modular Mustang and what needs to be done to one of those.

I put a set of American Racing headers in mine a month or so ago. Did it at my friend's shop. It was a clean install and not that difficult. Hardest thing was getting the bolts out of the coils under the lip near the firewall. Took all day and much of the time was the tight spots where it was hard to remove the bolts.

Why would it be stupid? There are more reasons other than hp why cats are ok on our cars. The hp difference isnt that much either.

I don't thinks the cats that came with my headers do much.

It took me about 5 or 6 hours working mostly alone, friend helped on a couple things.
