I'm new here, We (the wife and I ) just purchased a 1999 Trans-Am Convertible. Loaded with 35,400 miles for $10,600. You think it was a good deal? I was looking at production # and it said there were only 1,207 Trans-Am Verts made in 1999.

P.S. How long till I can post you some Photos?

in houston ive seen quite a few t/a's sellin for 7-9k with less than 80k miles...to me milage doesnt really mean anything. ive owned 2 birds and both had over 100k, paid $3000 for the '95 and $7500 for the 2000 formula..never had a problem with either except rear tires going too quickly. i guess it all depends on how much youre willing to spend to get what you want.

Yeah I think its the 10 years old thing. Most of these cars were under 40k 10 years ago. Low miles or not, they are just not worth that much.

Mileage doesn't mean anything??!! Mileage was the #1 concern for me besides the WS6 factor. I don't want a car some kid beat the crap out of or missed oil changes for 85-100k miles! My buddy was convinced his SS was never gonna break, he bought it with 60k, it now has 85k and things are starting to go. Mostly because he beats it like a dead horse, but mileage does matter! IMO.

Nick, you'll probably appreciate this- My bud just picked this up about a month ago... One of 21, stone stock, down to the exhaust. 12,800 miles, and $12K. It's ok, I hate him, too.

Nice looking car; I'm sure those wheels had something to do with the deal you got.
