Has anybody done the H4 headlamp conversion?

www.classicindustries.com has H4 conversion pieces such as the housings you need to use H4 bulbs and the upgraded wiring so you don't melt the stock wiring. Has anybody done this and is it worth it? I know I cant see ISH outta my TA without the high beams on. The part number for the housings Im looking at is MX09122 and the wiring upgrade is MX01133.

did it on my lt1 formula and it was a pos! thought it was great at first but then the lenses started to crack, bought new lenses and tryed cooler burning bubs but happened again, many other problems too... think ive already told u this but i figured id tell ya again.

i think you may be referring to the headlights that replace the whole assembly making them non pop ups, which do look pretty

i believe the ones he is talking about only replace the original bulb and look almost exactly the same but have a hole in the back to insert the H4 bulbs, that way you keep the stock look but have much better lighting.

That is what Im talking about, stock housings with the H4 bulbs in them. The only

thing that gets near my car is BLK2KSS.

if thats the case then do it, i hated the poor lighting on my T/A, im sure you can find a write up on here or on ls1tech
