    Hagerty Top 10 of 2000-2009

The new issue of Car Craft had a blip about Hagerty's Top Ten picks of 2000-2009 for the cars that are most likely to become collectible. The 2002 Trans Am WS.6 made Number 3 on the list. Other notable GM's are the '01 Corvette Z06 (No. 2) , '04 Cadillac CTS-V (No. 5) and rounding out the Top 10 is the '09 Pontiac Solstice GXP Coupe. Nice. This just gave me a little more ammo to tell my g/f that it's not a toy, but a collectible. Not to sound like a traitor on a LS1 forum, but why is there a Mini-Cooper listed for 2003 and not a Mustang Cobra?

I almost bought an 09 Solstice GXP Coupe. It was a lot of fun to drive and real easy to put the tail end out around corners but it was way too small inside for any kind of long distance driving. Felt like putting on a straight jacket before you buckle into the seat. There was only one seating position and it it wasn't comfortable, too bad. The other stupid thing was that while the top panel was removable you couldn't take it with you in the car and the cloth insert was only sold as an extra cost (almost $1K) option. How dumb is that!
