ANd the C5 upgrade is done as well as the front Stainless Braided Brake lines Be doing the rears and tomorrow, as well as the front shocks. Might as well get the Front shocks mated to the Vogtland springs at least so when i do do the front suspention all i gotta do is the whole shock assembly.
Didnt go all out on pics but here a few tidbits Most of yall know how to do brakes lol
    Before the C5 upgrade

After the install with C5 Rotors. No cutting of my spindal. alittle filing to fit the shims but no cutting with the brakets i have.

    Other stuff im putting on

Tomorrow the rear Russel brake lines, and the front Koni Sa's are going in. more picks to follow.

Looked into that, alittle labor intensive for my taste right now. Be easier locating an addition PCM and sending that to frost then that.
Which im doing now. Might have found an 98 LS1 A4 PCM with stock tune, just need to get the seller to let it go for a decent price. THen ill send that to frost while im waiting in germany an no down time and if i need another tune, just send teh other one, or put the stock PCM back in and send the other back or vise versa, depending on what tune needs to be done. I just dont know about sending my GM to a germany dyno shop. just scares me alittle. Rather be able to talk to my tuner in enlish and know that my tune is set for my firebird and not a VW Golf lol

Was looking around for brake cooling ducts and found one for a 2005-2009 vette. Was wondering how hard would it be to modify these to fit the front of my car? Was also looking at the rear ones too, modified to kinda scoop air from under the car instead of the quater panel like the Vettes.
    Here the fronts i found.

I figure i can make these fit on the inside of the cooling ducts on the TA and into the flex tubes and in to the spindal cooler. Any thoughts?

Not as easy as you'd think..I was researching tgis awhile ago and the concenses was to buy some made for the t/a..I believe they grab air from the openings under the turn signal housing

Well for now ill hold off on the duct work and going with getting an GM OEM LS 85MM MAF and adaptor harness and I guess im finally ditching the SLP MAF for better tuning since im having Frost tune for it

Also went with new brake slide pins due to the stock ones being pretty stuck and new bleeders since one wa really rounded and i almost couldnt get it off.

    New MAF on its way

To replace the SLP unit there is. My guess is that he does not have the original or that it has been hacked up. The GM replacement MAF for our cars is now an 85 mm unit with a plastic body.

actually traded my entire old lid to MAF setup for this SLP intake lid to MAF on a guy that got rid of his 2001 WS6 in 2007. But now going with the new GM 85MAF for better tuning options for Frost.
