UMI Adj TA with -3 pinion angle (best i could get it so far)
    UMI Adj poly/roto LCAs
    UMI Adj poly PHR
    UMI DS loop/ tunnel brace*
UMI 2pt bolt in SF connectors
    UMI ST bar

Stainless steel braded brake lines (no traction control)*
    275/40r17s fronts
    295/35r17s* rears.
Rondell 58 custom 9.5F/10R painted and polished if i get them done in time lol
Revmax 3200 stage 5 Torque converter (we will see)
    B&M Trans cooler*
    Trans Temp guage
    SLP Lid
    SLP MAF
Vision motorworks 80mm throttle body (cant hurt for throttle response in quick corners)
    OBX SS LTHs
    LLP Catted Ypipe
    Poly motor bushings*
    New front wheel hubs*
    SFI Flexplate*
ARP flexplate and torque conerter bolts*
    LS6 Intake manifold*
    * represents on its way or getting very soon!

still debating getting a used LM I or II and putting a magnaflow bullet in it.

Race weight 3650 plus whatever i weight the day i race lol.
I accually Gross Axle weighted my car one day while at work. Had some army scales and we where doing some "center weight and balance" classes and used my car for the class . center weight by the way is about 6" back from the mirrors lol.

this is the definate setup unless it doesnt get here in time. car will be ready to go. LS6 intake and 3200 stall should really wake up the car. hopfully i could get it tuned before i go here in germany in April. id send it to frost but i need my car during the week. Daily driver baby!

    TOO LATE!!
lol I managed a "drug deal" (no actual drugs involved lol) where i got a 3200 stage 5 TC with billet front cover, upgraded carbon clutch, anti ballon plate, and upgraded sprags for really cheap its rated to 700hp. ill never see that. and if i do a custom made TC would be in order since a built motor would be needed for somthing like that Im getting a B&M trans cooler and a tran temp gauge though to make sure it stays put. Since heat is the enemy, i will keep a close eye on it. Im gonna test the living CRAP out of it. after a good 150-200 mile break-in period, dyno, the Ring, and German Racewars are a go.

the biggest thing im concerned about is setting up the suspention, which is about 80% done. SO far its setup great for drag lol got all the rear stuff done, now getting the turning stuff done. Gonna be ordering all the front umi stuff from strano. wish the kmember could be in the budget but theres always next year looking forward to the ls6 upgrade and throttle body too

as for racing, im wondering about tires. what kind to that extent. SO far im looking at Kumho Ecsta SPT 275 fronts and Kumho Ecsta XS 295 rears. good street tires, limited experience on the track. did my 14.1 on the spts with 245s.

Trans temp gauge came in the mail today. Looks pretty good. Need to get a gauge adaptor though so it will fit in the vent, its a 52mm gauge.
Got some decent tires on the way too. Some 275/40ZR17 Kumho SPT fronts and 295/35ZR17 Kumho XS Rears. Should look good with the rim im working on.
Llots of stuff on the way. So far this is whats on the way:
    Koni sa shocks f/R (used)
    UMI tunnel brace with loop
    UMI Trans Relo Mount
    UMI Upper A arms
    UMI Lower A arms poly/roto
    UMI Adj PH rod (installed)
    UMI Panhard relocation bar
    UMI Adj Torque Arm (installed)
    UMI Torque arm bolts (installed)
    F/P LCA Relocation braket (installed)
    BMR hollow sway bars 35/25
    Vogtland 1.2" lowring springs (installed)
    ls1 to C5 brake bracket
    C5 D/S Front Rotos
Ls1 Hawks HPS Pads f&r (semi installed, waiting on front rotors)
    revmax 3200 TC Stage 5
    B&M Trans cooler kit
    Shiftglo trans temp gauge
    speedinc Gauge adaptor
    Kumho 295/35ZR17 XS
    Kumho 275/40ZR17 SPT
    SFI Flexplate
    ARP flexplate bolt
    ARP torque convert bolts
    WIX Trans filter
    Russel steel brake lines
Firebird decal wheel center caps for new rims
    Hidden antenna
    Vision Motorworks 80mm throttle body
    New upper balljoints
    LS6 intake manifold
Still working on LS6 intake manifold and ractronic fuel pump upgrade.

Is there any other recommendations i shuold get then? other than big power adders wish a Forced induction was in my budget but oh well. Theres always next tax season. Anything else small i should look for.

    Kmember bought lol

Now for a serious question. I know the UMI RR Kmember is a beefy piece of hardware and looks great. From those that have it, how does it manage on the street since i do mostly DDing with a few track visits every so often. I know it will reduce weight as well. Im very tempted to get one.
while i dont have one...it does fine in DD..it has bracing to protect the pan ..so it is actually one of the best..if not the best of the K members

The kumho ecsta xs is a great summer tire, why would you put a different type on the front?

Well for one, the rims are different widths (9.5 fronts and 10 Rears) and also since i do ghigher than 65 on a daily basis on the autobahn here in germany, a good front tire that has good water evacuation is needed. Im sure for grip the Kumho XS is probably a little better but in wet traction (which has a high posibility on the RING and even on regular roads) Kumho SPTs have a little higher rating. THey still have good dry traction as well. My dad wanted to get me some MT drag radials of some kind but i want to keep my rearend alive lol.

under steer in the dry and over steer in the wet.

??? why so? 275s are stock for TAs and 295s arnt that much wider. 315s on the other hand maybe more so. ive been running on 245s for awhile on 17s

You are putting a harder tire on the front. Even if you put the same tire all around it would still be under steer prone just less noticeable depending on how sticky the tire is.

I guess. Not sure how much stickier the XS is compared to the SPTs. I know the SPTs are a stick summer tire for sure. The XS arnt a drag or RR compond tire but havnt tried them yet. I believe they are pretty new though. Im mostly running this set up as a Daily driver compromise. and price as well lol running out of things to buy lol

Well i got my invoice form strano, Kmember is offically on its way. shuold be here in about 9 -15 days. Now i wish i ordered it first instead of last cause now i have to weight to isntall everything for the most part to install everything Well i guess i can install a few things. GOD! somtimes i wish i was in the states so i could get my stuff faster lol

Also, im guessing this should be a good time for new motor mount bushing lol
Polys or the new aluminum ones umi has?
