    I am pretty sure that it can be turned off by a program......and from what I gather the f-body can reach speeds of low 170's with the limiter turned off

    yes it can be done by modding the computer.. and yes low 170's stock, as assumed with a good stretch of road and no radars around

    I picked all the parts for my combo but all the credit must go to my mechanic he's the one that installed most of the parts and tuned it. He does all of my work for no more than half of what a shop would charge me and he does excellent work.

    I plan on buying some heads by this fall. I want to get some other things taken car of before then (4.10's, Ls7 Clutch) which i should have all those done by july. Then i'm gonna do some more suspenion mods and heads after that.

    Is the name of your mechanic jim in bakersfield? The same guy I am gonna have my car dynoed by?

    wow you're lucky, i cant wait to get even my first mod done... headers should really wake it up

    Yeah its the same guy, but as far as the tune goes it cost about the same as what a shop would charge because he has to pay for dyno time. Everything else he does at his house on a lift.
