I figured 4 less hp runnin safe was the way to go for now since im gonna be gettin a dual n/a-nitrous tune here in a few weeks. Dont worry about the haters out there, they hit me with the... it should be here or should be there bs too. All I know is my sh*t is just as mean on the streets as it is on the dyno and im sure yours is too so its whatever. I personally didnt even want to get my car dynoed yet cause I know numbers dont mean sh*t but a friend of mine was gettin a base line for his new TA so I said screw it. the numbers made since to me considering how well it runs against others with more mods.
I figured there has to be someone else with high numbers but who knows. How many miles you got on the car? I got 35k now so maybe that has some effect but I still wonder if sea level would help me put out more power

I pulled 330rwhp and 342rwtq on a Mustang Dyno through a Moser 9" with only LT's, exhaust, and a lid.

My A/F was 12.7 min and 13.1 max.

Guessing on a DYNOJET I would be at about the same as him. Not THAT unbelievable IMO even though on the high side.

    Congrats to the OP.

PS - I beat daily also.

what 1/4 time do you run ?

hp numbers are and have always been used for baselines and tuning ..unless you are a ricer than it is used to determine who is faster

Why would it be any more unlikely?
SAE has set correction factors. They don't change because of the altitude.

Thank you for clearin that up. It's been itchin at me.
But even though power doesn't change the time changes are dramatic

I wished I woulda dynoed when I was stock. I'm just going off of my friends
A4 WS6 which was 300ish. Not higher than 310. And 318 with a tune so I know it's an auto and I know it's less but that's all I got.

I would like to know if there is some hard evidence that shows power power at sea level

    Pretty much.

    Dyno corrects.
    Track doesn't.
I can see the argument for both sides on whether or not the dyno numbers should be corrected. People want to be able to compare with others across a set correction factor leveling the field if you will. But at the same time, I believe it pays more to know what the car actually makes for power...not some corrected number. You are going to be driving around making what it makes, not the corrected value.

That is why I got a rash of shit for my track times. "Only running 11.9xx with 531RWHP?? What the fuck....can't you drive?"

N/A street cars tend to run about a full second slower up here than they would at sea level. Obviously there are variances....

    @ 6'er

    Thanks!!
Probably sounds a lot like yours just driving around....until you hear the idle, or I open the dumps.
Through the exhaust, it is fairly tame....but sounds mean.

Hope so. I need to get something set up, but I work weekends, and it can cost me to take days off.
    Depends on $$ flow.

I am going to Track Day on June 11th and then to the KBPI car show on June 13th. Both at Bandi.
