    Going on vacation...storing the bird

Going on vacation till late July, and i am leaving tommorow. Just wondering a few things i should do b4 storing the bird. Actually not gonna really be in storage, my dad will fire it up once a week and maybe drive it once every 2 weeks on nice days to keep everything nice and oily. I did the following so far...

    Check tire pressure
    Check all fluids and filters
Clean/Condition all interior stuff and leather

Maybe tommorow ill throw a few coats of Zaino on her, but i dont think she needs it. Do you think i will be ok w/o STABIL in the tank?

you forgot... "Give Spaz the keys so he can take it out every once in a while to make sure the tires don't dry rot..."

No problems I fire mine up every two weeks or and drive it to the store during the winter.

I have a '98 with 44K and she purrs like a kitten. She did a bunch of racing early on.

In 2000 I decided she was so nice I didn't want to wreck her and bought a '68 Camaro with a 650HP 454 so that the Bird could have a nine long retirement. Wife was really cool about buying a 7K car to save a 25K car. ;-) That's how it's done boys... Please don't tell her.
